Interview! The word is enough to make us feel dread. Interview is the first step towards a job, and it should be perfect in any case to grab the opportunity. One cannot risk of taking an interview lightly. While going for an interview you should be well prepared. Disappointment of losing the chance is overwhelming and no one wants to go through it. Your CV: CV is the first thing that an interviewer will observe, even before you. Your CV can grab the attention of an interviewer only if it contains information related to the position you have applied for.  Reflect your experience that matches well with the requirements of the job. The requirement of each organization is different so streamline your CV as per the job demands. A company just wants to test whether you have the skills they want or not?

Reach before time:
Try to reach the interview venue before time. It makes an interviewer realize that you are punctual and dedicated. Sometimes you might be new to the place so start from the home few hours before the interview.

Research about the company: It is one of the most essential things you must do while going for an interview. Most of the times a common question appears in front of you, that is, what do you know about our company or why do you want to join here? To answer these questions you must go through the company details so that you can give an appropriate answer when required. Company's website is the ideal place to gather relevant information. 

Switch Off your Mobile Phone:
No interviewer like any kind of disturbance during an interview so switch off your mobile before facing him. You never know when your mobile will start ringing and distract your flow. So make sure that your mobile is switched off before entering the interview room.

Dress Nicely: Wear clean and professional attire during an interview. This leaves a good impression over the interviewer. Avoid perfumes and talc with strong fragrance as it can distract a person taking your interview.

Keep your answers concise: Whenever you have been asked a question, try to give to the point and short answers. Don't speak about anything else. Be specific while answering your questions.

Concentrate on your Body Language
: Sit straight and maintain an eye contact with your interviewer. Remember to maintain a good posture while giving the interview.

Ask questions: Once you get over with the interview ask something you want to know about the organization. Keep it short and simple and do not ask common things that are available on the company's website.

Say thank you before leaving: Before leaving the interview room say thank you to the interviewer and appreciate him/her for giving time.
