Preventing NauseaYou've done the right planning. You've got your finances right and you think you are in great physical shape. And then your morning sickness starts and it's time to go to work....sometimes you are coming back from work when nausea strikes!

  • Your mother tells you not to take tablets; hubby is also concerned about the harm that these tablets can do.
  • Some women get relief by adding a piece of fresh ginger to their tea.
  • If you think you are going to feel better by vomiting, just go ahead.... get it over and done with.
  • You think you are going to vomit if you eat too much. On the contrary, an empty stomach is more prone to nausea.
  • Eat several times in the day, rather than three full meals.
  • Even in between calls, you can take along fruit cut into pieces or vegetable salad.
  • Do not eat anything that is spicy or oily.
  • Citrus fruits are good for preventing nausea and they are good for health too.
  • Focussing on something when the feeling of nausea is coming is also a good way of preventing it.

Go through the pangs without too much cribbing because the more you crib, the more miserable you are going to feel.
