Is it My Fault?
My team leader has made it a habit of pinning down all the faults to my work and me. I am a sincere and good worker. How do I tackle this situation?
It happens all the time. Is it your work that your leader is unhappy with or your attitude or style of working? Write down the situations that made your leader voice his unhappiness towards you. Were you caught on the wrong foot on those occasions? Do you interact well with clients and colleagues? Are you a little emotional perhaps, thereby leaving the rest of the team feeling a little uncertain about how you would react to certain situations? Do you give others the feeling that you consider your job more important? If any one of these is the case, then your colleagues may have complained about your unprofessional attitude, thereby colouring your leader’s perceptions about you. Remember, the world does not see you the way you see yourself!
