“Check” This Out!
The checkered look is back with a bang!
• With tunics being a hot hit these days, use checked fabric creatively with the plain shades.
• Wear a Scottish checked tunic on black leggings
• Use the checks at angles to get the maximum mileage
• Avoid checked bags / shoes if you are wearing a checked skirt / dress
• Alternately, use the Tartan look to enhance a plain outfit. Co-ordinate it with checked bag / shoes to make a style statement.
• Give your wardrobe a new look with a checked waist band / belt, scarf, waistcoat.
• Avoid embroidery / sequins etc on checks. It looks gaudy and takes away from the beauty of simple checks!
A word of caution: checks may make you appear heavier than you are! So pay attention to the look before you step out.
