• If you colour your hair, remember a single colour will make it look more flat. To add volume, try highlights in a different shade.
• Try using a “root volumiser”. This is especially designed to give your hair an instant lift, and they are available in gel, mousse or hair spray versions. Rub gently near the roots, on semi-dry hair, lifting hair with your fingers as you apply it.
• Use a good round brush, bend your head forward till your hair falls all over your face. Blow dry your hair as you brush it with brisk strokes, and fling your head back. Voila! Vot Volume!
