You might not be aware of it, but more than 70 percent of adult women are plagued by acne- not just on the face but also on their backs. Popularly known as backne, it appears on the back, especially between the shoulder blades due to reasons yet unknown. One thing is for sure, backne is tougher to treat than facial acne. One of the reason is that most of us are unable to reach our back.
Tight clothes, execessive sweating, oily skin and exposure to sun can cause backne.
To avoid getting this problem, make sure to scruub your back with a good exfoliator at least twice a week.
If you have an oily or sweaty back, then use a salicylic based face wash on your back as well.
Use a clay body mask one a week to remove deep seated grime from your back. It also helps in skin regenration and pore tightening.
In case acne breakout is severe, then use a facial anti-acne cream on your back as well.
Avoid sun exposure and apply a gel based sunscreen to protect your back.
Finally wear loos cotto clothes to allow your skin to breathe in summer.
