The natural immune system of the body is unable to prevent this sudden, and abnormal growth. These abnormal cells become so large in number that they start affecting the healthy cells of the body. If cancer is not detected, and treated on time, it may prove to be fatal. Some forms of cancer do not have a cure. Cancer gives rise to tumors, a tumor is considered benign if the tissues of the tumor do not penetrate into the cells of the surrounding organs and tissues.
