The BPO industry Turmoil

Recession brings with it many questions and few answers. The BPO industry and the IT industry have no doubt been affected and in turn, the economy of the country. It has also made the country realise that within the BPO industry, companies have to focus on excellent performers rather than just huge numbers. There has to be a direct link between academic training and the BPO industry for this to happen. Teachers in colleges in turn have to be recruited so that they provide this kind of training to the students even before they join the industry.

Career of Choice

The government has also realised that until opting for a career in the BPO industry becomes one of choice rather than compulsion, they will not get the right employees to boost their own image and their success rate. Companies should also strive to make the environment safe and professional rather than project a 'cool' image of the working environment in which there is every option of going astray.
