If you can talk non-stop and still make sense and entertain, then perhaps you should become a radio jockey. The radio is becoming popular once again and so the career of radio jockeying is spiralling, entertaining and worthwhile in financial terms. It is not necessary for an RJ to have done a degree in mass communication. Any kind of educational background will do, as long as you are willing to read up and stay in tune with the audience.
On-air personality
RJs have irresistible radio personalities and a voice that can really turn you on. The qualities that an RJ must have are command over the language, enthusiasm, a sense of humour and of course a good voice. You need to think on your feet, so to speak because although you may have come well rehearsed for the show, you need to be spontaneous to answer the queries of listeners! If you are a really good RJ, then you could move on to becoming a creative director or programming director. So, if you are interested in talking, why not look on this as a career?
