Internet Addiction

China may very soon officially declare the internet addiction a mental disorder because it is as disturbing as drug addiction or even gambling. Many teens categorically state that browsing on the internet, chatting, playing games and downloading movies are all things that take up most part of their day. The day when there is no electricity or there is something wrong with the internet connection, these addicts don`t know what to do with their time!

Virtual World

Parents have to work on their relationship with their child and make conversations and life outside the virtual world more interesting. Teens too understand that the world outside can be more fun but they are so used to their cozy room and the computer that it sometimes becomes an effort to move away. In today`s busy world, where both parents are working, neither parent has the time or energy to spend with their children. Each parent should set apart time for their children or teens to talk and listen and make sure that their child sees more of life than the monitor!
