China's Water Babies

Chinese girls keep winning the water medals! Teenagers Wang Xin and Chen Ruolin won the gold in the 10 m platform synchronized. They scored 30 points more than the runners up of Australia. For the winner of the 2007 Melbourne World Championships, this was the best gift one could ask for. The pair trained hard since they were thirsty for the medal. The Chinese have always won in this event since it was first introduced in Sydney in 2000. They were at ease before a home audience because they had been trained to treat every training session as an event. The Chinese are happy, but not content. They want to take all the eight gold medals in the Water Cube!
