Dogs today can fly with you wherever you go, have a special dinner ordered at home and also have pedicure done at home! No more kennels outside the house for these guardians. Today, they are not only mans (or womans) best friend but a fashion statement! Here are the range of items being offered for dogs at malls while the owners shop: gentle oil massages, herbal hair colour and nail polish! Dog hair gets dematted and there are offers of anti-tick baths too. All these cost a package, but owners do not seem to mind!

Pet Grooming Industry

While a few years ago, owners bought only dog leashes and bowls, today pet shops are equipped with goggles and even anti-stress chewing sticks and breath fresheners! Doggy food is delivered piping hot at Rs. 80 and if your dog needs to be cleaned, there are cleaning centres that pick up the dogs and drop them back after charging Rs. 650 for a full treatment. There are also restaurants exclusively for dogs which charge from Rs. 40 to Rs. 175 a meal. Surely such dogs are neighbours envy and owners pride!
