The British Association of Dermatologists had been baffled by the frequent rashes found on people's ears and cheeks until they discovered that it could be a skin allergy caused by too frequent a use of the mobile! Users who are allergic to the nickel surface on mobile phones develop what doctors call mobile phone dermatitis. Unfortunately many doctors are themselves unaware of the allergy the gadget can cause.

Everyday Use

Those who do constant texting could also get the rash on their fingers since the fingers are in constant contact with the metal buttons. Nickel has always been known to be a very common cause for allergy and is a metal that is found in jewellery and belt buckles. Those who are known to be allergic to the metal have to be more cautious of using the mobile. Teens would be well advised to curb the use of the mobile so that they do not face the various hazards of the mobile.
