If your diet does not include carbohydrates at all, chances are that you will lose those extra pounds of flesh, but along with that you are also likely to lose a bit of your memory! It becomes worse as the diet progresses and tells on the academic scores of those who have to rely on their memory to do well in tests. Researchers are convinced that a low-carbohydrate or no carbohydrate diet has a negative impact on behaviour and educational performance.

Scientifically Simple

Carbohydrates are broken down into glucose and this in turn supplies energy to the brain to perform. With no carbohydrates, there is no food supply to the brain! Proteins too act as fuel to the brain but glucose still remains the right kind of stimulant. So be careful about the kind of diet that you choose. You don't want to be labelled the girl or guy with the striking figure but a little muddled upstairs!
