Blonde women (not men!) have always been considered to be ravishing but dumb. Called bimbos, they are said to be seductively attractive but totally devoid of brains and yet men fall flat at their feet. Research now says that since some men are intimidated by intelligent women, these women have decided to play dumb so that they can forge ahead in life. They do not mind being typecast bird brain because their aim in life is to make it big and therefore, what does it matter what her man thinks of her?
Playing Less Intelligent
Men, who have been outsmarted by these dumb women, grudge these women their success because they feel that it has been unfair. Women do not mind their own gender using the technique as far as acting or modelling is concerned, but they are outraged when it is done in the corporate world or what they term the more "professional world" where intelligence is supposed to count. Whatever the arguments for and against, it does appear that the so-called dumb blondes do make a lot of hearts beat faster, and not just because of their killer looks.
