Women today are willing to walk out on marriages, not because the husband is abusing them or because of cruelty, but because they feel that they just cannot go on with a relationship that does not work out between two beautiful individuals. Marriages today have to be good enough for a woman to want to stay on. In other words, there has to be love, compliments and gifting. A married man today cannot be indifferent to the needs of his wife because that would mean that she just walks out, without even thinking twice about it.

No Patching Up

This is a growing trend and women no longer want to really pinpoint why they are walking out on the relationship. The stigma on divorcees is almost no longer there and therefore a woman has her life mapped out even before she has stepped out of what she calls a bad marriage. Counsellors say that today marriages don't work out because people are no longer willing to give it a patient try. They want instant happiness in their marriages as they do instant food, and that is a tall order!
