The Supreme Court has decided that women need to be protected more and more from their estranged husbands and life should also be made comfortable for them. Therefore, the new court ruling is that in addition to paying a monthly maintenance for food, clothing and other needs, the woman should also be given a house to live in. This is because the lone woman has sometimes no roof over her head.

The ruling of the Supreme Court is that the woman should live in the kind of house that she is used to. If she was living in a posh locality with her husband, the husband should provide her with a smilier accommodation! The man can either give cash towards the house or property. The Supreme Courts ruling is that "Right to residence is a part and parcel of the wifes right to maintenance." This is good news for women who have no place to go once the husband deserts them.
