For fans who have been mourning over the last of the Harry Potter books, here's someone who is ready to take overChristopher Paolini. Brisingr, Paolini's latest book got a simultaneous worldwide release. Shops were not allowed to open the book boxes till midnight New York time! There have been launch parties everywhere since fans are going crazy once again with the books.

Brisingr or The Seven Promises of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjartskular is the third book of the Inheritance Cycle, the two earlier books being Eragon and Eldest. The book was released on September 20 and sold 550,000 copies on the first day! What a turn of fortune for the young author, who as a teenager, had to stand outside book stores and sell his books to as many people as possible because his family had invested their entire fortune on them! Paolini says that he became so good at selling that he once sold a book to a man who had no knowledge of English! Never say die!
