Well, the Harry Potter series is over, but Rowling still hasn't put down her pen. The Tales of Beedle the Bard, that was released last week, has had all the Harry Potter fans rushing to the book stores. The book comprises of a set of short stories that appeared in the final Harry Potter book. Rowling had originally designed the book as personal copies for six friends. They books were hand bound and their covers had semi-precious stones. But then the author decided to let her innumerable fans across the world enjoy the fairy tales.
Young Readers
The books are aimed at young readers of ages 10-12, but of course they are going to be read by adults also. The book, being meant for this younger group, does not have the detailed description of Rowling's other books. Rowling has hosted a number of tea parties and breakfast parties to announce the new book, and fans have been more than willing to attend the parties. The proceeds of the book will go towards building new homes for Romanian children.
