Girls are excelling boys in every field, including academics. Researchers now say that this is because the education system in most countries is a passive activity, in which students have to listen and focus. Since attention span is less among boys, they naturally are unable to cope. Biologically, girls mature much faster than boys and therefore they are able to give themselves a goal and achieve the goals.
TeachingMany feel that since most of the teachers in school are women, they teach in the way that girls like to learn, rather than boys. Therefore, schools become girl friendly. What is the solution? Should we have more men walking into the educational field so that boys emerge more successful? Are women then deemed achievers because they have a natural disposition towards it or are we trying to bring down their achievements by saying that they have been gifted these and therefore they are?!
