Sabina Sehgal, consultant editor of The Times of India was caught in the Taj where she was attending a wedding function. She was trapped on the sixth floor of the Taj because of the fire that gutted the entire floor. It's a tragic end to a successful career in journalism that took her to places and made her a well-known personality. Sabina laid the foundation of the SaturdayTimes which focused on fashion, lifestyle and food. It was looked down upon initially, but this did not deter Sabina from perusing this segment of journalism with conviction and passion. She felt that the focus on this kind of journalism would attract the youth of the country.

Food Guides

Sabina was a writer of culinary tastes and she reviewed restaurants enthusiastically but fairly. She was personally a treasurer of recipes and a fine hostess herself. What people remember about her is her youthfulness and her zest for things both professional and personal.
