Women and Anger

Madelyn Dunham, now more known as Obama's grandmother, belongs to the era of parents and teachers who were unafraid of their wards and empowered them so much with words of encouragement and action that they began to have a vision of their own, for their country and for themselves. Dunham knew how to discipline and love and that is what has made the next President of the country a good husband and a devoted father.
Quiet Hero
Obama himself described his grandmother as a quiet hero; one who did her duty without seeking publicity and limelight, which is why she perhaps did not live on to see her dream come true. She did other things in life also, other than raising a grandson. Personally, she worked herself way up from being the lowest paid bank employee to becoming the Vice President of a bank. Such women bring back memories of what parenthood is all aboutabout instilling in a child value systems and a sense of confidence in himself and the world around him. God bless her soul!
