Belmont Park Retreat is a beautiful small private retreat which is located just 15 minutes from the center of Wellington. The retreat was initially a barn which has now been turned into one of the best holiday retreats of New Zealand. Belmont Park Retreat is a good choice of accommodation for the honeymooners.
The Belmont Park Retreat is located amidst 27 acres of lush green meadows and bushes. Birdwatchers can spot a variety of lovely birds like doves and other species within the premises of the resort.
Accommodation in Belmont Park Retreat
Belmont Park Retreat can accommodate up to 12 guests. All the rooms provide a spectacular view of the Korokoro stream flowing past the center. The presence of the stream has created a wonderful setting for rest and relaxation.
Every room of the retreat is named after a virtue. Ceilings are high which makes the room look spacious. The dining room offers a nice view of the stream. The sunny decks beside the rooms are ideal for alfresco dining.
The kitchen is designed in a wonderful manner. The appliances include a large gas stove oven, crockery, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils.
There are five centrally heated private rooms in the main house. The guests can also stay in the two private rustic cabins. One of the cabins is self contained and equipped with all kinds of modern amenities.
All the guests are provided with fresh set of duvets, sheets, covers, pillows and cases for a minimum charge. Toilet paper, table mats, bathroom mats, tea towels and hand towels are also provided to the guests staying here.

For recreation the guests can sit back on the cozy lounge in front of the log fire and read a book from the onsite library. They can also listen to music.
There is a lovely meditation hall where you can meditate for hours and revitalize your energy.

The other facilities at the Belmont Park Retreat prove beneficial for all the guests who reside here. The area where the retreat is located does not have mobile coverage. Thus the hotel authorities provide you with phone services totally free of cost.
Parking up to 10 cars is allowed within the hotel premises. Laundry facilities are offered to those guests who stay here for a long time.
