Pride and Prejudice features among the favorite films on wedding. It was released on 11th November, 2005. The movie based on Jane Austen's novel- Pride and Prejudice will take you back in time, in 18th-19th century England. The movie is a romantic comedy telling the story of Mrs Bennet and how she finds prospective husbands for her 5 lovely daughters- Elizabeth, Jane, Lydia, Mary and Kitty. The movie was distributed by United International Pictures, Focus Features. It earned 38, 372,662 dollars at the US Box office.

Mrs Bennet is played by Brenda Blethyn, Mr. Bennet by Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Bennet by Keira Knightley, Jane Bennet by Rosamund Pike, Mr Darcy by Matthew Macfadyen and Mr Bingley by Simon Woods.

Story of Pride and Prejudice
The story is set in 18th-19th century England. The plot of the movie is centered around the Bennet family. Mrs Bennet has 5 daughters who are beautiful and educated and have reached a marriageable age. She is always worried about getting prospective husbands for her 5 daughters. The story starts with Mr Bingley and his sisters coming top stay at the Netherland Park, situated close to their house. Mrs Bennet wants him to marry one of her daughters. Mrs Bennet persuades her husband to go and meet their neighbor and invite him to their house. Mr Bingley was impressed by the hospitality of the Bennets and invited then for the ball which he had arranged in his Netherland Park home.
At the ball Elizabeth meets Mr Darcy who is a close friend of Mr Bingley. Mr Bingley is impressed with the beauty of Jane Bennet. At first Mr Darcy finds Elizabeth to be not worthy of him and he makes hurtful comments about her at the ball. On her first impression about Mr Darcy, Elizabeth finds him proud. As the story proceeds her prejudices about Mr Darcy become very strong. However, Mr Darcy eventually falls in love with Elizabeth and proposes to her saying that he wants to marry her regardless of her low family connections and her ill-mannered mother. She rejects his proposal and accuses him of being proud, arrogant, breaking the relationship of Mr Bingley with his sister and depriving Mr Wickham of his fortune. As the story reaches towards the end Mr Darcy is successful in winning her heart and clearing all the prejudices which she had about him. At the last Elizabeth is married to Mr Darcy and Mr Bingley is married to Jane.
Pride and Prejudice is a beautiful movie and the movie is a good adaptation of the timeless classic by Jane Austen.
