Dads are special. So, here are some fun things you can do with Dad on his special day.
Take Dad On A Picnic
Pack a basket with some sandwiches, some fruit, some candy, some chips and cookies. Don't forget the Coke, some cups and a frisbee.
Dads Love Hugs!
Make Dad a coupon book good for 10 free hugs. Tell him he can redeem them whenever he chooses. Fix an expiry date as well!
Fix Dad's Coffee For Him On Father's Day
Not just at breakfast, but all day long. Let him sit and relax.
Spend Some Quiet Time With Dad
Read him a story. Or just talk. Laugh.
Make Dad A Special Cake
(Moms and older brothers and sisters can help with this.) Use one packaged cake mix and bake according to the box directions. Using pipe icing and write "Dad is Special" on the cake. Maybe add a few decorations and candies that you think he will like. Put in a candle and serve it to him for dessert.
Fishing For Photos
Cut out a picture of your dad and glue to a piece of cardboard. Fold back outside edges so that the picture stands up (like a paper doll). Using felt tip markers, draw a fishing line in Dad's hand, and at the end of each line, add a picture of each of Dad's kids. This is fun and simple enough for little children to make.
Most Of All, Tell Dad You Love Him
That will really make him smile.
