This activity will help children express their feelings for their father, while encouraging the development of small-motor skills. Have your child make this gift for dad, telling him all the reasons why he is loved. The gift will be fun to make and Papa will simply love it!!

What you`ll need:

1. Chart paper or a small blank notebook
2. Crayons
3. Markers
4. Old magazines
5. Scissors

If you don`t have a notebook, but wish to make one, make a booklet out of chart paper by cutting several pieces the same size and stapling them together. Give this to the child to decorate.

Have the child think about what he or she loves about dad. Then the child can either draw those things or look through old magazines and cut out pictures to glue into the book. Let the child write his or her thoughts in the book (help younger children by writing their words for them).
