• Although in the US, men stay at home mainly due to economic reasons, in India this is not the case. Men, who stay at home, do so primarily due to the nature of their work. Those who are into business or are freelancers in fields like, photography, advertising, painting etc. have no qualms about managing the household while their wives are away at work.

• Men who work from home are able to actively participate in the upbringing of their children and this works wonders in the parent-child relationship. Such children grow up to be very secure and confident.

• Dads can do everything that moms can, just as well. An important aspect to be recognised here is that both mothers and fathers have different parenting styles.

• Women should not insist upon things being the way they want. They should let go of perfection. Small things don`t matter.
