One of the major grouses that women have against men is that they don`t know how to demonstrate their feelings of affection and love. Women feel that men don`t communicate their love loud and clear. But hey! Just because men don`t believe in wearing their hearts on their sleeves and proclaiming to the whole wide world their feelings, it doesn`t mean that they don`t know how to demonstrate their love and affection. Maybe, they are. And maybe, we are not reading between the lines. And maybe, men have their own surprising and unique ways of expressing their love. Maybe, it lies in the gifts that they choose to give women.
There are many different kinds of gifts a man can give. The obvious ones include those wrapped in packages, chocolates, flowers and special notes. But there are others that a woman may or may not be aware of.
For example, for some men, giving their time to you is a gift. They are choosing to be with you.
For some other men, it could be standing up for you during a difficult time, going with you to visit your family, doing little jobs for you, attending important functions with you. This is intended to convey that he is putting you first in his thoughts.
When a man plans trips, dates or outings for you and with you, the message is the same. He loves you.
If this sounds like your man, keep in mind that he, like many men, may not be comfortable with expressing his feelings directly, so these behaviours are indicators that he cares a great deal.
So, next time, your man does something special for you, don`t take it for granted. Take time to appreciate his acts of thoughtfulness. Don`t listen for words. Take note of his actions. Remember, the wise, old saying - "Actions prove stronger than words."
His actions are being generated out of love, and your man expects you to know that.
