Did you know that people tend to remember the opening and concluding comments at a meeting? Pipe up first (or last) at a general pow-wow - that's all it takes! Just don't blow your top or shout straight off just to make yourself heard. Say something crisp and sensible - that counts too, you know?

Here is another terrific idea - all you gotta do, every now and then is to show your face! Your boss is busy - she has piles and piles of stuff in front of her. Here's what you can do - skip the paperwork and give her a teenie weenie in-person bulletin on any pet project every now and then. Don't do this often -as in every five minutes or so. Try spacing this out - do this every 10 days or so. And see where this takes you!
