A lot has been said about the relationships in many magazines, editorials, journals and web pages. There have been guidelines for the young people that can aid and spice up their love lives. Girls play multifaceted roles in their lives and are very special to the near and dear ones. They are princess for their father and best friend to mom, hence girls also expect a very special behavior from the love of their life and consequently they make such decisions after much thinking.

The way girls choose the right person to go out with varies from girl to girl and general beliefs of a girl. Some girls believe a lot on various types of astrology, they judge people on the basis of their birth date and sun sign characteristics while others see the compatibility between the numbers associated with their birthdates, alphabets of their names etc and some read the tarot card predictions to step into the relationships. Every individual has a different outlook towards finding the right person to go out with.

However, some certain key traits are there which girls seek in a guy irrespective of the beliefs of the girls:

1.Care- This is the first and foremost requirement in a girl’s checklist while choosing a suitable guy for her. A gentleman is without any doubt appreciated by the girls and the generosity definitely pays off to boys.

2.Sense of humor- Girls prefer guys who can keep them happy and make them laugh, and in turn boys also like to make the girl feel that only he can keep her happy.  

3.Possession- it is surprising for some but yes this is true. Although girls cannot stand a suffocating interference in their lives by their male counterparts, girls in the 21st generation want their own space and individuality but a little possessive nature does only good, it gives a sense of security to girls.

4.Hygiene standards- The world knows that boys make a mess out of everything, from their room, wardrobe to the schedules of their having a bath, boys will remain boys but girls really look forward to the boys who can keep a check on basic hygiene levels like having a shower daily, wearing fresh clothes daily, brushing teeth daily to avoid bad breath and YES the word “DAILY” means a lot.

5.Courageous- A girl always desires a man who can flaunt her proudly in front of her friends and family (after a certain stage of the relationship, MIND IT!!). It’s a big turn off for girls to see that the guy doesn’t want her to meet his friends. This shows that the boy takes her for granted and is not sure about the relationship.

Apart from all of the above mentioned aspects, nevertheless, a girl would want to go out with a person who doesn’t care for her or is fake. So be GENUINE!!
