“Marriages are made in heaven”. This phrase may or may not be applicable on today’s generation. Everyone is so busy in making business and moving on. They don’t even have time to look back and apologize or thank someone. Then how can one expect finding a true life partner. Status symbol is what everyone is likely to have and grab the limelight of the society. May it be a cool friend, social gathering or even for that matter college or school kids. Everybody loves to have a partner, for today this is a trend strolling in arms with each other. Buying a rose or a gift is more expensive than an emotion. The term girlfriend or a boyfriend now seems to be a virtual word with a blank gap.

The true meaning of a boyfriend or a girlfriend does not exist. It is all because of the competitive world that persists in today’s life. Girls need a reputed and well settled man to secure their future earnings. Men are often in search of the most beautiful women on Earth to keep their status in the social circle. It is because of the comparison and the search of perfection that leads to misunderstanding between the two people. Many girlfriends who follow the path of true love experience heart break situations leading to separation. Then finding for a right and true man takes a lot time because of low confidence. These situations have now dealt with new era of switching over people very frequently. They find and leave each other due to petty faults. “Nobody is perfect” is a true quote. This all depends on individual thinking. Every person should be a self being. Any small defects like low salary or ordinary looks should not be a criterion for finding the life partners.

Being selfish for money or high standard lifestyle is the major insecurity in today’s life of 21st century. The hiking rates for the ordinary life and a better salary pay is what is chosen by anybody who is willing to marry. This has become the major criterion in today’s marriages. And for a true fact every girl is more attached to their home environment and finds their parental home the best place to survive and they have faith that one day their parents will find a more suitable person to be a part of their life. This is the most valid reason why every girl is not an ‘ideal girlfriend’ and hence there exists no true love in today’s life.
