• a pinch of detergent

• a pair of scissors

• an index card

• a pot of water

Take the index card and cut out a boat of approx. 2" x 1" (5cm x 2.5cm), with a small slot for the "engine" in the rear as shown. Float the boat in a pot of water. Then put a little detergent into the "engine". Your boat sails forward and travels through the water in your little lake!
