Items needed:
- a clean plastic milk container or bleach container
- a large rubber band
- a heavy pair of sharp scissors or kitchen shears
Watch the fun!
Place the rubber band around the middle of the plastic jug to serve as a cutting edge. Carefully, force the sharp points of the pair of scissors through the lower part of the jug, below the rubber band. Follow the edge of the rubber band and cut the jug apart. Discard the bottom half of the jug.
Now, speak in your normal voice to someone across the room. Then speak to the same person through the mouth of the megaphone. Your voice is louder through the megaphone and can be heard much further.
