The child's tensions and need for attention may be a cause of bedwetting.
If bedwetting is resumed after a period of dryness, it could reflect new fears or insecurities.

Moving to a new environment, a death of a loved person or even the arrival of a new baby at home or traumatic circumstances in school could trigger a fresh round of bed-wetting.

Ways to deal with it
Don't make an issue of it. Teach your child to change the bed sheets.
Don't punish your child for it.
Make your child feel normal. Share stories of other bed-wetters in the family.
Don't tell people about your child's problems. Keep it confidential.
