Taking Time to Understand Mothers

Mothers are the God’s greatest creation on Earth. If there is an angel on the Earth, it truly has to be the Mother who carries another life in her womb and shows the world to her children. Mothers are always adored and admired by people of different spheres. No matter what, there is no single being in the world who does not love their mother. She is the epitome of unconditional love, patience, forgiveness and affection.  But, we as children often fail to understand her and get so busy with our daily routine life that we never hear the words unsaid by her. Yet, she still showers her love and blessings on us with no expectation whatsoever.

When a baby enters this world, he or she first recognises only the mother. A nuptial bond is created between the mother and the baby even before the baby enters the world. Scientific studies have revealed that the baby responds to mother’s emotions and mood swings while it is inside the womb. That’s the kind of relation that a baby and mother share that when the baby takes birth he or she continues this relation in the real world. A baby understands the voices and instruction of the mother when it is completely new to the world. A sense of protection is felt by the baby with a simple touch of the mother.

As the baby grows, the bond gets stronger and stronger that stands against all the hurdles that life poses for this divine relation. She teaches the children the difference between good and bad in a subtle and pleasant manner. She understands the needs of the child even if he does not express it. She smiles when the child smiles and feels low when the child is sad.

Mothers are of different characters as some tend to be too lenient while few others become too strict. There are mothers who control their children and get rather irritated with their every small mistake. But, when we try to understand them it’s possible to get the right answer for their behaviour. It could possibly be due to their loneliness. Many single mothers become very arrogant as they have to cater to the needs of their children all by themselves with no other backup support. This has to be understood by the children and make her life all the more smooth.

But, when we grow up as an individual, who is actually moulded by our own mother, we just tend to forget her needs and emotions. Grown up people often fail to understand their mothers and do not take time for the same. Our mothers need us during their old age and it’s time for us to return her love and support. Though, it’s not practically possible to return everything that she has done for us but the least that can be done is to understand her and give her moral support at times of need.

Take time from your busy schedule and understand your mother, who knows tomorrow you may never get a chance for this and regret for the rest of your life.
