To worry or not to worry? That is the question.
"For every Evil under the sun, there is a remedy or there is none. If there be one, try to find it. If there be none, never mind it." W.C.Hazlitt.
It started off as a simple auto rickshaw ride and felt like a stint below the Bodhi Tree. The traffic near Connaught Road was at its peak. The auto had seen better days. The driver, heavily insured, perhaps. I was chewing my nails down to the cuticles. It did not help. Said my companion If you are nervous, tell him to slow down if you don`t wish to say anything, enjoy the ride. After all he too is in the vehicle. Simple truth!
The nail chewing stopped. The driver was asked to slow down. He did a bit and then I sat back and let the madding crowds fly by. Not an earth shattering fact true. But this is something that assumes various forms and situations that fox us.
We are unsure of what we fear we do know that we can put aside fear and tackle the issue. We are afraid of making choices taking decisions. So many, many situations that cause heart ache, stress, fear and continue to trip us up everyday. We sit back and gaze in awe, we tremble, and we worry. To what end?
If there is a way out take it. If there is a solution find it. If it cannot be cured endure it.
Do it with the positivity that comes from having distinguished between that which you can take control of and that which you cannot.
