
You know what, girls? We really are so pliable. It's our flexibility that helps us bounce back each time there is a setback.
Resilience gives us a sense of buoyancy. The willing spirit is the most powerful tool known to mankind - or rather - womankind!
The ability to laugh is crucial to resilience - as is the need to start afresh. Sometimes, we need to literally shake ourselves like little terriers and get ready for life again.
It helps not to take life too earnestly. More importantly, let's not take ourselves too seriously.
Sometimes, it works better to take one day at a time. Sum up enough spirit to go through one day at a time when things go bad. It helps not to think of the long term.
And amazingly, what works well for resilience, is physical activity. So, keep busy, ladies. It's good for your mind. And for your body too.
In fact it keeps you in flexible form. Which is what life is all about.
