Exercise is good for the body and the skin because the pores of the skin open up. This helps to flush out all the toxins in the body, thus resulting in flawless skin. In addition to this, one needs to follow the right kind of diet. Here are some recommendations that
you could follow:
- If possible, eat organic food since chemicals and pesticides are harmful.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day ' at least six glasses a day.
- Eat as many colourful fruits and vegetables as possible.
- Fresh seeds of pumpkin, sunflower and sesame seeds are good for health.
- Include in your diet protein rich food such as soya, beans, lentils, egg white and sprouts.
- Whole grains, apples, bananas and grapefruits are very good for the skin.
- Alcohol, tea and coffee are not good for the skin. Smoking too is bad for the skin.
- Do not eat food that has too much sugar, carbohydrates, oil or preservatives.
- Curds is highly recommended for the skin. In fact, a combination of curds and rice applied on the face, the neck and the hands can make your skin soft and supple.
- Herbal tea, lime water and fresh juice also have beneficial effects on the skin.
- Vitamin A is very good for the skin. Vegetables that contain vitamin A are carrot, spinach and sweet potatoes.
- Hazelnuts and almonds, which are a source of vitamin E are also very good for the skin. In fact, almond paste when applied to the face makes the face soft and clear.
- Soak almonds in milk overnight. Remove the skin and then grind to a smooth paste without making it watery. This is a good moisturizer.
- Apply natural honey and massage it gently all over the face. Leave for ten minutes and wash with cold water. This is safe for sensitive skin.
These are very easy tips, aren't they? They are certainly worth trying if you want to get that million dollar face. But remember, some of us are allergic to nuts so test a portion of the skin before applying anything on your face.
