Fennel Cleanser

Make your own cleansing cream, right there at home. Take two tablespoons of crushed fennel ( sonf to the uninitiated) and mix it with half a cup of buttermilk ( ¼ cup curd diluted with water). Boil for 25 " 30 mins, remove and cool to room temperature. Bottle it in a clean jar and store for up to two to three weeks.

Oatmeal Surprise

Take 60 gm oatmeal, one teaspoon of sodium benzoate and half cup of buttermilk. Mix all the ingredients well to make a smooth paste. Pour in to a clean jar and refrigerate for longer shelf life ( up to 2 months)

Almond Delight

You will require ½ litre almond oil, 125gm. White bees wax, 1 teaspoon borax powder and one cup of rose water. Melt the bees wax in a heavy bottomed pan, and mix in the remaining ingredients. Stir till well mixed. Cool and bottle the cream in a clean jar. It can be refrigerated for over 2 weeks.

Citrus Cream

For this you will require lemon juice and glycerine in equal proportions. Mix both ingredients and stir well to form a paste. Your cleansing cream is ready for use! To make it last longer, store in a clean jar, and refrigerate.

Soft as Rosepetals

Take 100 grams of rose petals. Discard the wilted ones. Place rose petals in a saucepan, pour hot water over them and place on simmer for 10 " 12 minutes. Remove from the gas and cool to room temperature. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sodium benzoate. Mix well and bottle in clean jars. The cream can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
