March 21st is "Stop Racism Day". A worthy cause we heartily endorse. We believe in the equality of the human race.

Everyone is kneaded out of the same dough but not baked in the same oven.

"I'm superior', said the sky, "because I'm blue. Blue is a better colour than green or brown or yellow".

The green trees raised their heads in anger, while the golden sun blazed in a fury. And the brown earth revolved with resentment. Who was to decide which colour was better? Which was the superior creation?

The good Lord above smiled wryly even as he sighed. "When will they understand that if I thought one colour was better than the other, I could have and would have made the whole world in the same hue? I like splashes of colour. They make an interesting picture. To me the black elephant is as awesome as the white artic fox."

Why do some people see life like a black and white picture? They miss the essence, the richness and the soul. All they can see is colour. Yet they have poor artistic tendencies. There's no beauty or creativity in their vision. Just prejudice and bigotry.

Okay, a monochromatic world? One big grey area with every living thing looking the same? Or should we settle for a splash of colour - and revel in God's creation the way He meant us to?

Like a wise soul said "Everyone is kneaded out of the same dough but not baked in the same oven."
