Different days have different significance in our lives. It has various significances which are related to national or international causes and reasons. Earlier some specific days were celebrated in honor and in memory or even supporting a cause. But nowadays these days are being celebrated with much gusto and vigor. Nowadays more and more specific days are being celebrated and these have been even more popularized by the greeting cards companies so that it can generate sales. Some important days to remember were the independence day, valentines day, rose day, doctors day and father's day.
These days to remember are very important as these days help to acknowledge the importance of the day. The day celebrates a particular cause, a reason or a person. These days give us the opportunity to celebrate a cause and wish the well being or even remember those who have touched our lives and have made a special place in our hearts. Some days to remember have special significance and have special importance in people's lives. Hence more and more people have started celebrating these important days to remember. You and many more people across the world are now celebrating some very special days to remember because they hold a special significance in their lives.
Anti- Tobacco Day (May 31)
Anti- Tobacco Day is held on May 31. This concept was started by the WHO. As more and more people are smoking and being a victim of tobacco and its ill effects. Hence this day and its observance will bring about a mass awareness among the youth of our country and preventing the damage created by smoking. Many actions have been taken by social organizations to prevent smoking, one of the actions being the cease of tobacco advertisements.
International Hug Day (Dec 4)
International Hug Day is celebrated on December 4. This day is celebrated to show our love and care for some special people in our lives and how much they mean to us. You can give them a hug and show them how much you really care about them and love them.
Valentines Day (Feb 14)

A loving daughter had once started this concept of celebrating this day. Rose Day is held on the February 12. This day is observed when people gift a rose to their near and dear ones as well as their loved ones. World Anti-Terrorism Day (May 21)
World Anti-Terrorism Day is celebrated to extend the meaning of love and peace and non-violence. Terrorist activities have increased much more and have taken many lives across the world. Especially in the recent light if seen the whole world is a victim to the terrorist groups. This is observed so that it can raise awareness among the youth and terrorism can decrease from our world.
