Next year, when Christmas comes around, here are some things you can do out of the ordinary:

  1. Play Secret Santa with a neighbour who has had a rough year.
  2. Present the `Most ridiculous stunt of the year' award to a family member who qualifies. Could even be your brother for wearing your deodorant by accident to school.
  3. Bake a cake and write `Happy birthday to Jesus' on it and sing for Him.
  4. Try hand-made gifts.
  5. Go shopping with your husband and choose his gift with him. Gives you quality time together.
  6. Stay up through New Year's eve with the family and think of all the things you want to do next year.
  7. Put up a memory bag on the tree and get family members to write down the memories of that year. That way you're going to have the most unusual record of family history.
