Do-it-yourself tree ornaments for very young children.

What You Need

• Large and small paper plates.
• Felt paper in different colours.
• Cookie cutters (different sizes and shapes). Or stencils.
• Twine.
• Glue.
• Scissors.
• Punch.
• Crayons, markers, coloured pencils, paint.

Method

• Trace shapes onto plates using cutters and stencil.
• Cut them out.
• Colour and decorate one side.
• Stick onto felt paper.
• Cut felt around decoration.
• Punch a hole at the top.
• Place string through hole and tie.
• Hang on tree or give as gifts.

You could also use glitter, shiny beads and anything that is in your trinket box to decorate.
