Nutritious roti

Ingredients:










Whole wheat Atta2 cupsSoya Flour1/2 cupTooar dal1/2 cupBesan Gram1/2 cupMethi Leaves finely chopped1/2 cup Coriander Leaves finely chopped1/2 cupOnion finely chopped1 Pepper5Cumin seeds1/2 tspSalt To tasteOil1 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak toor dal & besan gram separately for 1 hour.

  2. Mix Atta, Soya flour and a little salt and make a soft dough. Cover with a cloth for 1/2 hour.

  3. Drain both the pulses, add pepper, cumin seeds and grind to a coarse paste.

  4. Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and sautĩ till it changes colour.

  5. Add methi leaves, coriander and a little salt.

  6. Finally add the dal paste and fry for a minute.

  7. Make equal-sizes balls out of the dal mixture.

  8. Roll out slightly thick rotis.

  9. Take a roti and keep the dal ball, cover it and roll out once again.

  10. Fry the rotis on a tava without oil.

This roti can be had without any side dish.
