Soak toor dal & besan gram separately for 1 hour.
Mix Atta, Soya flour and a little salt and make a soft dough. Cover with a cloth for 1/2 hour.
Drain both the pulses, add pepper, cumin seeds and grind to a coarse paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and sautÉ© till it changes colour.
Add methi leaves, coriander and a little salt.
Finally add the dal paste and fry for a minute.
Make equal-sizes balls out of the dal mixture.
Roll out slightly thick rotis.
Take a roti and keep the dal ball, cover it and roll out once again.
Fry the rotis on a tava without oil.
This roti can be had without any side dish.
