A bedroom is a room where you take rest after a hard days work. Therefore, it should have all those items that keep you away from stress. It is a room which helps you distress. It is also the room where you sleep for the night. Therefore, that room should not contain anything that hampers your sleep patterns. It should not contain your television as viewing television while sleeping will not help you sleep. This is just the start to decorating your bedroom with easy and cheap home decoration methods.
When starting to decorate your bedroom, you might be at a loss for ideas on how to go about doing it. But there are some easy and cost effective ideas in order to decorate your bedroom. These are not only very easy to do, but they also will not break your bank. And most importantly, they do not require any elaborate materials or decorative items to do them. They are as under:

-Move the Furniture
-Change the Walls
-Change the Bed
-Hang Prints on the Wall
-Put out vases of silk flowers/Floral greenery
-Put in a New Lamp

We can move the furniture in such a way that the room looks new. We can rearrange the furniture in the room to make it look like a completely new room. Change the location of your bed, thus changing the direction of your sleeping position. This will make us feel like we are in another room or that our room has been done up. Changing the look of the walls can be done either by painting them. Painting can be done with the same shade or with a new one. Alternatively, we can decorate the walls using wallpaper, or stencil some designs using an artist.

Changing the look of the bed by buying a new comforter, duvet, or bedspread can go a long way in changing the look of the bedroom. We can also buy an entire set of new bed sheet, pillow cover and cushion covers. Changing the bed covering will make the most difference. Hanging Prints on the wall can be done using framed paintings or framed photographs. Even posters can be used for this purpose. Alternatively, we can hang a design on the wall which will give it a new look. This will not only make our bedroom look new but also give a new look to our walls.

Putting out vases of silk flowers is very easy. It just requires us to take a glass or jar which can be either from our collection of items or we can buy it cheap from the market and then you can fill it with a hand full of pretty silk or plastic flowers or various colours. Bedside lamps which adorn side tables near beds really look cosy. Even nightlights can be used for the purpose. These are very cheap to buy. Wall scones which adorn the bed, dresser or adorn either sides of your wall mirror go a long way in improving the look of our bedroom.
