Anita: Hi!
Sunanya: Hello. What happened to your eyes? Your eyes have turned red and swelled.
Anita: Oh! I guess it's due to eye-infection.
Sunanya: You haven't shown it to the doctor.
Anita: Yes I have shown my eyes to the Doctor. He gave me eye drops and medicine. But it hardly matters.
Sunita: Why?
Anita: As you know I have weak eyesight, so it didn't come as a big surprise to be when I feel irritation or reddening in my eyes.
Sunanya: But you shouldn't take eye-care lightly. Take precaution from your end too.
Anita: Tell me how can i take care of my eyes?
Sunanya: Beautiful eyes are a great asset. Eyes are also very sensitive and require extra care and attention. Here are some important to sustain the beauty of your eyes.
Eye exercises give relief from the blurred vision, eye strain and lazy eyes.
Wear glasses (anti glare) while working on the computer, laptop and to get protection.
Avoid watching too much of TV. If you're watching TV then keep some distance.
Take good care of your eyes especially during summers. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from harmful UV rays.
Keep your eyes clean. Wash your eyes daily with the splashes of cold water. Eyes are very delicate so when there's irritation or itching then immediately consult the doctor.
Anita: Ok.
Sunanya: Also a balanced diet is very important for good eye-sight and beautiful eyes. Eat food rich in Vitamin A, which is necessary for good eye-sight. Deficiency in Vitamin A causes night blindness. Include food items that are a rich source of Vitamin A like green leafy vegetables, fruits and milk.
Anita: Alright. Thanks for your valuable information.
