Neera: I'm fine.
Ananya: You've gained a lot of weight.
Neera: I look overweight.
Ananya: Last time when I met you; you looked healthy but now it seems you have gained excess of weight.
Neera: I know that. A lot of my friends and family members have told me.
Ananya: Why don't you do anything about it?
Neera: My weight gain is due to excess of eating. But I can't change my eating habits.
Ananya: You must understand the fat that we eat all kinds of food. But how we eat it and when it all makes a difference.
Neera: Gimme a few tips on eating habit?
Ananya: Don't eat if you are angry or upset. Try not to have high calorie food, fried or fatty food. Have lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and juices. Practice breathing exercises like Yogic Pranayama to control appetite.
Neera: What are the essentials of eating the healthy food?
Ananya: Avoid overeating. Eat enough food to satisfy your hunger.
Eat freshly cooked foods as much as possible. Substitute sugar with brown sugar, jaggery or honey. Never skip meals. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Go for a walk after a meal.
