Sujata: Yeah. Have you joined gym, yoga classes or any fitness centre?

Ranjana: Not really. Sujata: Then you must be on dieting.

Sujata: Then what's the reason behind your sudden weight loss?

Ranjana: I've joined dancing classes.

Sujata: So you've lost weight through dancing?

Ranjana: Great. But how is it possible?

Sujata: Dancing is as effective as walking, swimming, jogging or bicycling. Dance for half an hour to burn about 300 calories. Dancing for half an hour equals walking for about 2 kilometers.

Dancing gives substantial cardiovascular benefits. Dance daily for half an hour to get protection against cholesterol and control blood pressure level.

Dance is an effective way to keep up a regular exercise routine. The dance movements strengthen muscles. Dancing also helps in shedding oodles of weight.
