Accessories and Decorations

Traditional Indian weddings usually have a religious stage as a central focus, such as a mandap for Hindus or palki for Sikhs.

These can be basic or intricately decorated and vary in size (single, double or triple), shape (rectangular, square, or oval) and material (wooden, plastic, metal or fabric).

Floral arrangements, fruit carvings, ice sculptures and fountains make attractive table and centre pieces and help brighten up dull or empty spaces.

Balloons, streamers and banners serve the same function. Purpose built backdrops and reception screens can be used to hide plain walls or divide large rooms into smaller sections.

Food stalls for buffets, specially constructed low stages for live music and dancing, custom made backdrops and sets can be used to add a touch of originality to a venue. Traditional Rangoli patterns can be created on floors or doorways.
