A wedding can be a nerve-racking experience if it isn't handled well. However, we can make things easier for ourselves by following a few sensible tips. Keep a wedding planner handy. It will give you most of the details you need to look into. Write down the details of the decisions you have taken. Keep updating it regularly with each fresh decision you have taken. Don't be too proud to ask for help. Unless you're planning an extremely low profile wedding - it will be near impossible to look into all the details yourself. Delegate all that you possibly can. People would be glad to get involved and help out. The florists, caterers, decorators, musicians and the photographers need to be reminded of the date a few days before the wedding. Reconfirm the date, time and venue. Don't forget to organise accommodation for your guests from out of town - especially if they are not staying with you. The people who host the wedding are expected to look into these little details. Make a realistic budget of all the costs you're going to incur. You could be caught short of cash if you don't. And that's embarrassing!
Remember - a wedding is a reason to celebrate. Keep your tension at bay and enjoy D-day.
